The only listing at Radio Locater for 1660 in the Northeast USA is a 10KW Spanish station WWRU in NJ, but this seems to be coming from the NW or SE, and the language sounds Asian. Anyone have any

OK, now I get it. Sort of like the audio version of the screen break-up on digital video. I can see why it would be a problem for really weak signal DXing, however on my G8 I don't think I will miss
