Convert your SRF-59 to SW
With the advent of the new Tecsuns, doesn't everyone have a spare SRF-59
going to waste? "Dr Phil" converted one to SWBC. Definitely not a pocket

New logs
I haven't had much luck adding new logs with the G8, but hit on a couple of good ones.
Times are UTC and radio is a barefoot Grundig G8. I'm located in Plainfield Indiana.

Could also be 1600 WKZK out of North Augusta, South Carolina.
They play a black gospel format but will have some preaching and sorts inbetween. They almost never give their call sign but on the hour.

Re: --best mini-radio ??
I believe the TECSUN CR-1100 has the same DSP chip as the G8, but less features enabled. No SW or LW, and 9 or 10 Kc. AM tuning steps. Probably the single selectivity/audio band width chosen is wider,
