I Cut the Ferrite Successfully!
I finally got time to try cutting a small ferrite bar on mydiamond-bladed tile saw. I'd been cautioned to use plenty of waterso as not to damage the annealing. I did. It cut VERY easily andcleanly.

spring due to flood damage at the transmitter site. It's good to

new categories for ultralights ?
I wonder what you guys might think of this.Some radios such as the
GRUNDIG G-6 are ultralight in size and weight but are not considered
ultralights because of special features such as SSB ability.How

I've owned a Toshiba RP-F11 since the 1980s, and it's a very good
receiver. When manufactured it was probably the best receiver of its
type, much better than the inferior, but better selling Sony

Same is true for the regular SRF39. The one I have is deaf on FM-local, hears locals ono FM-DX. AM is not as good as either the SRF-59 or the Sangean DT200-VX.
