The point is Michael, that at sunset in the UK, it is broad daylight in the USA/Canada so good luck getting TA reception. Sunrise in the UK is the best time for TA.

Well, I’m the exception to that…. My transpolar logs… which includes what east coast US residents call transatlantic…. Happen before sunrise ;)

My experience with the Grayland Kiwi this morning was Japan, Japan, Japan with a few Koreans. The Japanese were quite strong but unfortunately most of them were fairly common

It was all Japanese. Some big Chinese guns were there ..945/981…. But it was almost all Japanese with a lot of upper band activity of

I spent about an hour this morning (2-3 UT) searching very carefully for WINS 1010 but with no luck. I first used my PL-368 but then spent most of the time with my much superior Panasonic RF-B11. Both
