As Paul is based in Australia, the majority of those are Australian calls. Some are used on air, others not. New Zealand follows the same format.

Okay Johnny and all, it’s arrived and I have to say I’m pretty impressed. But what I didn’t notice in my haste to buy was that unlike the Etón Mini it doesn’t have shortwave 😞. I haven’t

Hi Peter
Many thanks for your reply, in which I suspect you’ve answered my question. But, to be sure, have a look at Paul’s logging

AM Radio has some of the most UNORIGINAL "Slogans" !!!
Hi all,
Just was thinking about how incredibly unoriginal most AM Radio (maybe FM too?) station slogans are!
I can't BELIEVE how many boring slogans exist, I have lost count of how many stations

Hi Johnny
I did wonder if you’d seen that 🤔. It’s not here yet, but I’m expecting it later today. I’m pretty keen to see it myself! This morning I started to renovate an old Panasonic

Alpha Numeric confusion!
Hi all
As a complete novice to this game, I’ve got to admit to utter confusion about loggings I’ve seen on here. What do they all refer to? If a logging was for instance Radio Romania

Thank you for that nice little piece of information. I’ll try that immediately and let the group know the outcome.

If it drains the batteries when turned off a work around might be to remove the battery between uses I have had a few radios which had an odd defect wherein they did not power down all the circuits

Very many thanks Steve, that’s much appreciated! This may have to go into the ‘spares’ bin I think, because battery drain is very rapid.

Looking at the diagram it does not appear that pad goes anywhere; if so then it doesn't matter if it's left unsoldered, and it wouldn't change anything if it were soldered. If the other side
