It must be that 621kHz (3RN) is a local station to you? I tried to look up this station in proximity to you, but

Defining moment(s) that got you hooked on Radios?
Two defining moments for me....
1) The GE handheld radio (looking at it right now) that my aunt bought me for Christmas - I couldn't believe how cool it was having my own radio!

Re: "One Radio to rule them all" or "Mix it up a bit" ???
Hi Peter,
I couldn't agree more, the feeling of a "proper radio" is hard to beat!
I'm finally to the point in my life were I could actually buy those "expensive radios" that I dreamt of as a teen, but

That sounds like a really good plan. My collection got a bit out of hand, so I have scaled it back a bit.

Re: "One Radio to rule them all" or "Mix it up a bit" ???
My go to radio is the XHDATA D-808. I did try the Tecsun 330, but found the MW performance to be poor so sold it on.
I do have a newly acquired SDRplay RSPdx which I'm planning on using for overnight
