What Gary said is the reason I bought my first one. I think I purchased 8 of them over time. Mostly for under $10 a piece. <SIGH>I found a guy that recommended swapping a few caps for better audio

I superglued a better clip onto the back as it kept coming off the belt.

It's certainly possible to push the boundaries as you guys have demonstrated. I've modified a PL-310ET to accept an external MW or LW antenna using a shielded transformer in place of the ferrite that
