Re: Air Band Receivers
Thanks, for me that would not be that useful as the band is so large and the transmissions are not constant.--

Both radios scan the whole air band, the way they scan the other bands.

Does it scan the whole air and or only the frequencies you have programmed in?

Re: Air Band Receivers
The CCrane Skywave scans the air band up and down, but the scan speed is quite slow. The Radiwow R-108 also scans the air band, almost twice as quickly.

Re: Air Band Receivers
None that I know of. I know my AR-1733 will do a single pass of the air band and then save any found frequencies but that is not really that useful.--

Re: Ultralight DX'ing "Class" question - Newbie
As I have posted before, the classes only come in to play for the awards program, for 99% of the time they are not really anything to worry about.--

I don't understand the classes, do we have to make a note of what we are using?

So, with HF SSB, do ultralights cover this? Is this part of the group or do we only talk about broadcast traffic?

Re: Ultralight DX'ing "Class" question - Newbie
The classes (as far as I am aware) only relate to the awards for the medium wave band, on FM I don't think we have this defined.
