Re: Tasmanian Changes
Thanks Dan.
I heard 6WA last night around 11 PM.
No news on 7SD yet, I will keep an eye on the ACMA site and an ear on the bands.

Re: Who Is Tassie Radio Rxer?
Hi Paul. Nice to read the review of the AR-1733. I just brought one last week as they were on special.
So far I quite like it. Heard CNR 6 on 909KHz & 684KHz around midnight last week in my bedroom,

Re: Tasmanian Changes
Hi Paul.
Iv'e heard 2LT here in Melb fairly audible after 11.00pm at night. Now I know which one was always fighting with 7AD when that was on MW.
On 558 6WA could always be heard late at night here

Re: Digitech AR1780
Hi Paul. I think you'll like the AR1780, Iv'e had a lot of fun with mine, On MW it is more sensitive than the PL-660 I have.
Cheers. Dan.

Tasmanian Changes
Some recent changes here in Tasmania.
558kHz - 7BU: Now moved to FM, this means 4GY and 6WA are DX targets on this frequency.
900kHz - 7AD: Now moved to FM, this means 2LM and 2LT are now DX targets

Re: New Design (2019) FSL Antennas
Interesting development!
Has anyone tried an FSL for the 160m amateur radio band?
Where noise is a problem on 160m, a remotely tuned FSL might make
a big difference for reception, obviously
