Agreed...many such radios are a crap shoot. I just took a shot and seemed to have been lucky. Funny thing too since I just received another radio to see if it was worthwhile at all...very cheap at

Funny John. I, too, cringe at the name "Radiwow". However, if it proves
to be a decent receiver, I don't care what the name/manufacturer, whatever
designation, I will probably buy one. I'll simply

Re: Radiwow R-108 Received
Thanks Jay. I am certain your review will be thorough and reliable on that radio you received. Unfortunately the QC problems Gary has noted make it unsure what anyone else buying one may get.

Radiwow R-108 Received
I received my Radiwow R-108 yesterday about 21 days after ordering it and am relieved to find that it seems to be performing as it should. To be fair I've only had an hour or so to check it out so far

Newly "Supercharged" C.Crane Skywave Receives S9 Big Guns
The C.Crane Skywave Ultralight portable is extremely crammed, with the loopstick Litz wire connection points on the circuit board in the worst possible place for a "Supercharging" Loopstick

Ming and ferrite rods
Ming has generously offered a 20% discount to members of our Ultralight group who pay him directly (outside of eBay)
Could someone provide the contact info for Ming outside of eBay?
Thanks,
Rich
