Quite an accomplishment with obviously high quality antennas feeding a high-end radio. To me the real value in this group is the research on antenna designs and placement. Personally it does not

I agree. The SSB works fine. I had no problems tuning in conversations on 80 and 40 meters with just the built in whip. The fine tuning feature is a little different, but it works fine in touching
