Hello All,
There was some fair Asian propagation on both the low and high band this morning during a sunrise enhancement session, but there wasn't much energy or variety in the TP's that showed up.

Re: Using a crystal radio for ultralight dxing?
I built my first razor blade radio in first grade... my mom almost had a heart attack! It was trash bound. She promptly replaced it with THIS "safer" crystal radio, with a good ground and a wire

Those and the FT140-Type J are cores I use the most for matching my verticals to RG6 Quad shield and making common mode chokes with RG-174 coax. They are my favorites for matching transformers.

Thanks for everyones suggestion and comments.
I am most interested in the LWBC end of the spectrum with the second PL-380 so I will probably trend that way in my experimentation. Between comments
