Hello All,
As others have reported, very good Asian propagation was prevailing this morning, with several low-band signals reaching excellent levels. The listening session started off with a bang

Paul,
The ABDX group (ABDX@...) "adopted" a logo a couple of years ago. They use the now-defunct DX Gasoline sign!

Radio listening in commercial airplanes wasn't a big deal back then. I found both AM & FM
difficult because of so many stations quickly fading iin and out.

Re: Degen DE312 (not DSP) Not Recommended
Okay. I've heard reputation of the PL-380 in its excellent performance, but I don't want a PLL-tuned radio, sinch such kind of radio consumes much more than analogue one. I think a decent analogue set

Paul,
You probably know already that we were just joking around about the "Cliffhanger DX" logo. You certainly don't need to spend any time drafting up such a logo, to match our suggestions.

I've done it on a Trans Atlantic flight LON-LAX back in '89 using a Sony Walkman cassette/radio. Get a window seat. Logged Greenland on 2 FM frequencies and got a QSL from one and advice as to who
