Re: Newfoundland Ultralight Radio Logs June 29
Neil:
Thank you for the information. KRDY isn't much of a problem here, but KNZZ might be. Despite its low power, KNZZ is aubible when I point the receiver toward Brazil. However a good signal

Re: Shouyu SY-X5 AM FM SW Radio
:-)
I forgot... the radio itself feels solid,
also the tuning dial is not "centered"
it will incline when tuning, making it harder to read a frequency...

Shoyu is the black watery stuff (soy sauce) that people over use like salt! May work as a ground plane as the saltiness aids conductivity but as a radio?? I vote that the radio is indeed

Re: Shouyu SY-X5 AM FM SW Radio
Maybe "beautiful song" in Chinese and "soy sauce" in Japanese.
I'm opting that it is Chinese. I see the price on Ebay is only $15+ postage from Hong Kong,

Richard, I'd think that Brazil on 1100 would be a better bet for you? What ever you can get from WTAM should be gone in an AU and also nulled when you aim at Brazil. I don't think KRDY is that strong

The auroral conditions were subsiding by the time it was dark here last evening. I tried to listen but the northern stations, including 990 CBW, were returning. I noticed some of the TV/FM

Re: Tescum Pl-210 Aligment Instructions Needed
Will do a deep check later today, and advise if any success.
BTW, the brand name is Tecsun, not Tecsum. Those conducting their own searches that search on Tecsum will not likely find much.
