Re: ULR DX LONGWAVE....UNID BEACON on 207 KHZ...Need Help
Based on our recent experiences at the LBI DXpedition, there are an increasing number of NDB's with funky spacing between the characters. Semilocal NEL-396 in NJ is a good example - the way it's

Hi Dennis,
I'm re-posting this to the list, because my direct reply somehow got
bounced back as undeliverable.
This is obviously a digital model (because of the memory presets), but

Re: ULR DX LONGWAVE....UNID BEACON on 207 KHZ...Need Help
The rain was steady but not near as much as forecast I would guess. 45 years ago I wrote a Thesis for my MSC on Landslides etc in Northland NZ, near Whangarei. Just as I finished my initial writeup

I don't see any good candidates Rob. CL NB is coming through about 15HZ higher than Brantford with a nice signal on the long BOG. There is another about 5 Hz above FD that I cannot make out. I assume

I'm not sure because I don't have a 390, but as far as I know the 398MP is just a 390 with an MP3 player.

AM DX with a Tecsun PL-398MP
Hi all,
The Tecsun PL-398MP may not be an ultralight like some of its other brothers (and I believe it only fails because it's a little too big due to the second speaker) but it's a darn good AM/FM

If you could log 3 new beacons during the poor Longwave conditions the
past 24 hours, your new antenna must be workng fine!
I gave the band a check around 0800 UTC last night, and
