Re: My new ultralight
Any sightings of the Tecsun R-210?
I cant find dimensions, so it may not
qualify as a ul-rx, but it would be interesting
to know how the new Si4831 chip compares
with the antique Si4734...
Anybody

My new ultralight
Hi all,
Last night I bought a new ultralight here in Shenzhen. Strangely the local stores don't carry many ultralight models (or larger radios), given that they are made a short distance from here

Phil,

Re: Affordable (?) 7" Diameter FSL Design
Hi Phil,
The 7" FSL (designed for MW coverage) uses 20 turns of the 660/46 Litz
wire, and each turn takes 23" of wire. Ordering 45 feet of the Litz wire should be more than sufficient, assuming that

Sunrise DX
Two new stations to report from my SR DXing session. Tnx to a tip from my neighbor, Richard Allen, these two stations were logged even though neither of them was what I was trying to hear. That's cool

Re: Rechargeable Batteries for Tecsun Radios
I wonder that too. Either that or the USB cable connector is defective. I use some Fuji 2800mAh NiMH batteries in my Tecsuns that I've had for several several years and used in other radios.

Thanks for your comment on the 738-2NR reception here. The Puyallup
