Re: Radio choices
I wouldn't be concerned about the overseas sellers necessarily. I recently purchased a PL-310 from eBay seller 'it.box' in Hong Kong and had it in less than 2 weeks, and at a good price.

Re: Radio choices
Im impressed with the PL-380.
A directly wired-in external ferrite rod and
selectable bandwidth make my PL-380
a strong contender. Of course, with a big
loop or FSL it performs even better.

SONY ICF-S22 FM/AM pocket portable- first impression-FARMERIK
I bought this from the UK for about $30 including S&H to the USA. It is smaller than a PL-310, but larger than a Walkman Radio.
It seems to get plenty of AM stations, I am hearing all the regulars

The next wave of radios coming from Tecsun?
Hi all:
Per a post on Herculodge, Tecsun is apparently getting ready for the next batch of radios, and is apparently focusing on even better quality control.
One sneak peek is this

Following the J&J tape exchanges, I realise it must have
specific properties that other tapes do not have. I assumed
standard ducting tape as available in the UK could be used,
but the thread

New Catch Tonight!
Using the crate loop with my PL-660, I was able to dig KTNN 660 out from under the 660 Calgary News station that dominates that frequency.
Not much of an achievement to receive a 50 kilowatt

Ultralight Longwave DX-- New Alaskan NDB (RWO-394)
Hello All,
Longwave conditions to Alaska seemed very good this early morning here
in Puyallup, finally providing the chance to log an Alaskan beacon that
was really booming in on the Oregon beach

Re: Steve R's advice on Loop antennas
Hi Gordon:
Glad the crate loop is doing so well. For the PL-660, I'm thinking that it should also be getting a significant boost: perhaps try backing off 8-10 inches from the loop? The bigger
