Listened again last night with surprising results.
I heard the 3rd harmonic of KLIF 570 on 1710 (and even stronger on 1700). It was a stronger signal on 1700 than it was on 570!

I took another look at it last night.
This time, there was no change between MW & FM, but the indicator dropped from 3 segments to 1 segment when I switched to weather band.

I own several M37V/W receivers and thereis no change in the battery indicator switching from AM to FM bands.

I've mentioned a decent LCR meter I've used, before on this list. Not many ULR folks are interested in measuring inductance, however.

I also experimented with diamond weave and rook wound coils of 10-12 inches on both

I have had my PL-360 on my 2 and 4 foot air cores and they work well, but are not nearly as narrow a pattern as ferrite loops. - FARMERIK
