Yes, when I lift it away from the top of the reciever, it makes a noticable difference. It also effects AM when I touch it also, kinda induces a harshness or a kinda low hum so I think maybe if it was

Unfortunately the American Forces network are probably relaying the show via the 150Kw transmitter at Frankfurt on 873Khz.
