The SONY ICF-38 indeed does have a harder time re selectivity with the locals during daytime patterns/power. Even so, I could usually hear stations 20 KHz away from locals. The exceptions were

Agreed. I ordered mine from Anon-co on Sunday evening. HK Post says
it's on it's way. Amazingly, the HK Post tracking number works on the
USPS site. Go figure.

Ya know if you ask me Sonny has never been able to make an FM receiver that was all that great. Their use of a loc/dx switch on just about all of their FM radios pretty much says it all.

Unfortunately WSM pulled the plug on stereo a few years ago. I never was much of a country fan. but it was sad to see such a powerhouse station revert back to mono just the same.

Sadly you can't run cQuam and IBOC at the same time, and mono station have to cut their audio back to 5KC. A lot of IBOC receivers will decode Quam, but most have narrow filters so their sound quality
