BOG antenna on PL-360 v.s. stock PL-310-FARMERIK
This is just a preliminary comparison. The '310 has a better reputation for receiving AM stations than a '360 when only the supplied stock antennas are used. The '360's ferrite rod is external and

Hi Richard,
Sorry that the TP's didn't come out of the noise for you this morning. They certainly have been shy, recently.
Apparently the sun got its act together before the west coast sunrise

One thing I was encouraged by since I became a member here was the lack of complaining and/or arguing that existed

Welcome Aboard! You sound a lot like me. I am more interested in listening to more programs on the radio by getting more stations. It is fun to keep a log with notes though, and it helps to check it

Hello.
Hello. I recently joined this group and have been sitting back reading the posts trying to learn what it all about. The current discussion on what radio's are or should be allowed is very interesting.

Yes it is about hearing a station. But sometimes you have to follow the trail of bread cumbs (a carrier or het) to the find program content. But one must hear some program content identifying

I have always felt I am a welcome guest in this group. Many very knowledgeable members have very patiently answered my questions and pointing me in the right direction. As a guest, I never complain

With all the talk of logging hets - Gosh I thought radio was all about hearing a station- actual voices or music. Now we have contests that count the detection of just a carrier? So a giant antenna,
