Thanks for the link! No surprise that it isn't a MW DXer's dream, but I rarely use them barefoot, so it's not a deal-breaker. It will be interesting to see if there is some available real estate

Thanks, Gil! That description seems to fit how I approach potential catches. I put a qualifier in my log for those which I might have heard but didn't get enough info on.

I was in France last year with the ultra-deaf (on LW anyway) PL-300WT. The British LW station came in OK in my hotel room, and there were others heard at night, so it wasn't hopeless. The 380 should

Way to go, Rob! I've been trying to convey the fact to the group that just because it's Summer, doesn't mean good DX catches just go away. Last Summer I logged a very healthy number of new stations.

YEOWZERS!! I just looked up the distance from Wildersville to Nashville, and I find it amazing that WSM's signal is so weak so close, especially considering the 50kW and low dial position! So does
