I have a G3, a G8 and a G6. The G8 is the most sensitive, followed by the G6 and the G3 far behind. There are features I like on the G3, but the sensitivity and functioning of the sync detector are VERY dissappointing. The G6, run with the power adapter is just about as good as the G8, and without it, NOT. That's because the power adapter gives an additional 1.5 volts and it makes a large difference.
