Re: Group Posting Suggestions

Morning/Evening,
It is not always easy to moderate an e-group and as an other groups moderator I know what I am saying. An e-group is like a public area where everybody meets: beginners, casual radiolisteners, experienced DX'ers or professionals browsing the 'radio landscape'.

A public area, to be practical and habitable, needs rules, but most important, needs responsability of the people being there. All of us are most of the times responsible but sometimes not really because our excitement, joy or sadness. That's human, that's the life.

But being responsible implies to recognize wise or wrong decisions and manage them. As a moderator I ask people just two things: never be rude or use bad language, and always posting thinking in the general interest, not on their own. That's true! members can delete messages, but nobody join an e-group just to delete messages, but to share with others and learn, as Gary pointed

Our hobby is nothing without beginners or experienced people. From that interaction the knowledge is born and communication implies walking together. The responsability of experienced DXers is also, in a way, to show how the marvellous world of DXing is.

But without responsability, a public area or an e-board could be just an empty place...

73 y saludos desde España.
