As Russ mentioned, this type of guideline is a common topic in any large group with hundreds of members worldwide. The posting suggestion was simply to encourage group-oriented posts, and suggest the option of private email for extended communication between two or three individuals. This same topic came up on our Ultralight group list about three years ago. Both then and now, there has never been any suggestion (or even a hint) that members should leave the group over this general guideline. In fact. all recent communication has been from valued members of the group, who we hope will continue to participate.
