Did you sell your R75 or did it fail? Mine is starting to show some issues, at times it won't turn on or fails to receive anything. I think I have got a good run out of it but maybe it is time for it to retire.

Ultralight radio sounds like fun, will be looking to grab one when I can. Using an Icom R75 at the moment, I don't think that counts as ultralight.
