In the spirit of Ultralight Radios, NO. Passive techniques only. This is why you see/read use of external loop antennas of various types. However, you can on your own as there is no one to police how you actually receive. It's all on the honor system here. Select Upper or Lower SB (or just SSB) and tune around for the best signal for the frequency of interest. This would be similar to using an external variable oscillator or Q-multiplier in which you inject another signal in attempt to recover the original signal. By inject, it is sufficient enough to couple the output of the oscillator to the radio using a few turns of wire. Try 1 or 2 to start. YMMV.
