We here in Europe use portable radios fitting in two categories:

1. ULR portables. Size limit 20 cubic inches.
2. Small portables. Size limit 500 cm3 (or 30.5 cubic inches).

The rest are big ones, or even 'huge' when they're bigger than 'big ones' ;-)
