No, you're not wrong they are, don't buy it.
The Eton Elite Executive should sell for that sort of price, the Traveler should be less than half that price.
The older Eton Traveler III has the same capability as the Eton Elite Traveler, and probably is a better radio.
You might find the Eton Traveler III for a reasonable price.
