My wife tolerates my DXing for all the usual reasons and one other: she is quite an amateur ornithologist (a serious "birder") and our log books are about like their Life Lists and Yard Lists, etc.  Really glad that you've gotten the bug, even f it isn't quite a terminal case.  Who know what will develope?
