In the end I decided to go with the PL-606. Just ordered it now :)

Hi Paul,

Three of those models (the PL-310, PL-380 and PL-606) were the subjects of a very detailed comparison article published a few years back ,and posted at http://www.mediafire.com/view/gcu6zgyxb724cy2/Tecsun606.doc  It will give you a four-band performance review of the three Tecsun DSP radios.

The PL-360's stock AM loopstick is one of the most deaf antennas on the planet, but the model has a plug-in AM and LW antenna socket, which is ideal for antenna experimentation. Unless you have such an interest, you should probably steer clear of the model for any serious AM-band DXing. On the other hand, if you (or anyone else) have such an interest, the article posted at http://www.mediafire.com/view/2cqwsqj0bvajf6k/7.5_inch-LS.doc  will give you all the information you need to turn the tiny Tecsun into a DXing sensation.

Subject: [ultralightdx] Current "Best" UL radio

I am in the market for a new UL radio, what is the current pick as the "best" model to look for?

These are some that I have spotted online:
TECSUN PL-310
TECSUN PL-380
TECSUN PL-606
Tecsun PL-360
