Returns to Amazon are much less expensive. Over a year ago I took a chance and purchased a receiver from a well known eBay seller. Seller is in Hong Kong. Received defective radio. Shipping from Hong Kong to the US apparently is cheap. Postage costs to return it were almost as much as the receiver itself. Also there was a language barrier.

Purchase from eBay outside your continent = IMO a gamble. Why take the chance?
