Dec. 6 New Loggings

Kirk

Hideeho Everyone,

I tried posting this report this morning, but it failed to make the trip. I know there's been some trouble with that here lately. Try, try again, as "they" say.

Two new stations found their way to northcentral Oklahoma yesterday morning. Hrd on the E-100 Slider.

1340, KPRK, Livingston, MT, 1330 UTC, 12/6/11, Many stations were popping in and back out on this channel. I just happened to be at the right place at the right time in catching a KPRK call letter ID. They were only audible for about a minute or two at most. The dominant sta there was KELO, Souix Falls, SD and an UNID XE station (probably XEDKT in Guadalajara, Jalisco.) Sta #839-

1350, WCSM, Celina, OH, 1415 UTC, 12/6/11, surprised to hear this one after 8 AM lcl time here. This was another very messy freq w/ many stations in and out. Caught a call letter ID followed by a lcl ad around 1418 UTC. This one was mixing with KRNT, Des Moines, around that time along w/ a yet unidentified sta I suspect might have been KBRX, O'Neill, NE. Sta #840-

I've set a short-term goal of logging 850 stations before Jan. 1. I think it might just be possible if I'm lucky.
It's cold down here in Okieland. Another short-term goal of mine is to buy a space heater for the shack in order to escape my neighbor's TV QRM and some electrical noise as well.
73 and GOOD DX to you all-
