You are correct! It was called the "DX Edge" and I still use mine. I keep the white plastic world map "slider" and the clear plastic overlays in a white over-sized postal envelope in the front pocket of one of my DX notebooks.
It's amazing that the overlays haven't yellowed with age!!
Comes in handy when I'm too lazy to boot up the laptop!!
