Others are invited to comment, but my understanding
is that the new DSP chips would not be readily DRM-friendly.
It would surely be possible to build or buy a suitable
old-fashioned receiver to feed DRM software from
your former IF down-converter. You might wish to
check how it might conform to uldx criteria. However,
if antenna extravaganzas are accepted, a DRM-add-on
might receive an innovation dispensation :-)

Getting legacy receiver is an issue hear.. and talking about limited immediate future of DRM.. dont
know abt other countries.. but AIR has already declared that, they are converting all existing
stations to DRM by 2015. So at least by next year I expect 10 stations on DRM in India (Hopefully).
Also there are other countries covering Asia as well.
