I figure I might as well bite the bullet and try to log 300 stations
in 30 days with my SRF-59s and DT-200VX. The end of the 30 days ties
in with the end of the Fall Follies, so why not?

I'm currently at 347 UL stations, so hopefully, the more intensive
listening will push me over (or at least closer to) the magic 400
station mark. At worst, I'd like to be at 400 stations by the end of
the year.

I got 38 stations so far this morning, just mainly knocking off all my
locals and daytimers.

John....Good Luck with the 300 in 30 Days Challenge!!! I'm sure you can
pull it off....several others have completed the Task since I originally
did back in Jan of 2008!! Just spend lots of time at the dials and they
will come!! Make sure you listen at various times..Sunrise, Sunset, Mid Day
and maximize your chances. Also keep an eye on what everyone
else is hearing....especially Flash Tips for stations that are On Late, or
Testing or just coming in unusually well on certain nights!! That can help
to Bolster your Totals. At least you're taking on the Challenge at an
opportune time with Excellent Conditions at this time of the year!!

I look forward to checking your Logs in a month...and approving your "300
in 30 Days" Award from the ULR Awards Committee!!

Go Get "em John.....
