any idea which FM radio chip the iPod Nano uses?
BTW, Microsoft's Zune HD (based on Siport chip) can reportedly record the broadcasts, too.

A more expensive device, but extremely trim, and the radio has the cool feature of automatic recording of the last 15 minutes of listening. You can "pause" the radio and resume a few minutes later or even rewind to hear something again (while recording continues in the background so you don't miss anything).
